Queen of Pop, 56-year-old Madonna, is heading Down Under to the country of Australia for her Rebel Heart tour. The concert date is set for sometime in March of 2016. The tour will bring Madonna to Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. This is the first time that the Queen of Pop will be in the country in more than 20 years and ticket prices are soaring.
According to the story on The Daily Mail, prices for Madonna’s upcoming shows are soaring as high as $3,000 for a package. The Runway V.I.P. Party is worth a little over $3,000 and includes a seat within the first four rows, a tour program, a pre-concert party, and a tour gift from Madonna. No word if Madonna is actually going to give out the tour gift herself for that amount of money. The pre-concert party will include a DJ, snacks, and a selection of beer and wine. For $3,000 I would hope for more than “snack food”.
Madonna’s Rebel Heart tour is going to take her around the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia reports Susan Mcgalla on Prnewswire. Her most recent single from her new album is called ” B**** I’m Madonna”. I say b****, please. Get over yourself.
Seth Meyers is known for his flashy smile and catchy sketch comedy routines on the long running comedy shoe Saturday Night Live. This past weekend Meyers was performing a show at the State Theatre where he did what he does best, he made the audience laugh late into the evening. After his set was done, Seth headed back to his hotel bar to get a few drinks with friends. What Seth didn’t know was that the bar that he was sitting at was actually about to get Queer Bombed. Queer Bombing is a trend where 100 or more LGBT identifying people and their allies come together and completely take over a bar or nightclub. The idea of queer bombing came from the adversities that LGBT individuals had to face when it came to going out for a night on the town. Instead of partying in small numbers, supporters and members of the community decided to travel in a large and definitive group in order to protect its members. This past weekend was the same situation. When the Queer Bomb group realized that Seth Meyers was at the bar that they were taking over, the comedian did what any lighthearted person would do. Meyers kept the party going. Meyers took pictures with fans and even gave a shout out to the partygoers on his late night talk show says business executive Shaygan Kheradpir. Meyers has definitely proved himself as a man of the people.
As pointed out early today, Thursday, June 18, by Chris Smith for BGR News, Orlando Bloom expressions in background shots in The Lord of the Rings series are sometimes too funny for words. Smith created GIFs showing Bloom grinning oddly and looking incredulous or overly interested in whatever is happening in the foreground.
Smith believes Bloom is “trolling” film viewers, but many fans of the films who have looked at the GIFs Smith posted in his article disagree. Bloom does not look like he’s trying to draw attention to himself in the background. If anything, poor acting and filming issues could easily be blamed for some of the expressions.
After all, the character Legolas in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was Bloom’s first truly big film role. It is far more easy to believe that Bloom simply did not have enough on-screen acting experience at that point to maintain character in many scenes than it is to think that he had chosen to be less than professional. Additionally, the director, camera crew and film editor(s) should had caught some of the expressions and re-filmed or re-edited.
Yet, while Smith seems hyper-focused on the background, the foreground is where all the action took place in the series. As a result, it is not surprising that Bloom would be mostly ignored except by overly obsessed fans like the nurses at the Amen Clinic.
Say it aint’ so, Uncle Jesse? John Stamos partied too hard this weekend and got busted for DUI in Beverly Hills. After several 911 calls, police pulled Stamos over in Beverly Hills. The notoriously handsome actor identified himself as Stamos and was quickly booked for drinking while driving. Unlike most drunk drivers who go straight to jail, Stamos was taken to the hospital instead. Apparently, Stamos may have been suffering from a medical condition that required immediate medical attention. At the hospital, he was issued a citation for DUI and released to the care of the hospital. After being released from Cedars-Sinai, Stamos took to Twitter to thank everyone for their love and support. He even thanked the Beverly Hills Police Department. Stamos is not scheduled to answer charges regarding the DUI until September 2015, a few weeks before his new sitcom, Grandfather, debuts on TV.
I can’t believe that! Thanks to my buddy Zeca Oliveira for posting this on your website http://noticias.uol.com.br… totally worth the laugh.
The transformers series one of the most popular movies saga’s around right now. There has been talk by Michael Bay that there will be a 5, 6, 7 in the movies series along with a possibility of a couple spin-offs. One of the more popular ideas is to have the first spin-off of bumble bee’s story. Bumble bee is one of the most loved characters in the series and the idea is that a lot of young children would love to see a transformers movie based solely on him and his story (would be compared to the X-Men origins: Wolverine series). Bay has been working closely with Star wars writers and toy makers alike to try and find the best approach to take. The ultimate approach would be to create a cyber-Tron/auto-bot universe to really expand the brand. Increasing sales in toys, comics and cartoon series revenue. The toy companies expressly want new weapons and possibly new characters to provide the children with. It seems as if Michael Bay is open to anything at this point. Looking at this from an outsider’s perspective, it seems as if the overall goal is to expand the brand to create as much revenue as possible out of this widely popular venue. Overall whatever Transformers team comes up with we will be happen to watch, as in the last film they set it up perfectly to take either direction on earth of in the vast spaces of the universe.
