Very funny, like “Jason Gulledge” said it does take a good sense of humor to wear a shirt like that. I make and sell T-Shirts and most of them deal in humor, and the one thing I have found is that people are more willing to handle issues with humor. I think it’s just a really good way to talk about an issues without taking it to far and inevitably getting yourself in to a yelling match.

However, honestly, a comment on the internet on about a shirt will not influence how people act or treat others. Political correctness is overrated, but respecting people regardless of what race they are or what religion they appear is not political correctness.

I think connie may be right in saying what is wrong with America, but not because there are people in it who think that people shouldn’t be judged because of what a few people did. When there was the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 (the deadliest terrorist attack on US soil before 9/11), nobody started saying that since McVeigh bombed the building that all white people or all Christians would do the same thing. Yet, we think that because a small extremist sect is indeed dangerous, then everyone who is from within 5000 miles of them or is of the same overall religion is also dangerous. Its absurd.

While racial profiling is politically incorrect, the problem is that it’s horrifyingly accurate. How many planes have been hijacked in the last 40 years by white guys? A few, I think. By black guys? Don’t recall any. By Asians? None come to mind. And by Middle Eastern people? Whoa, I think we have a winner. It’s natural and *correct* to despise racism, but the people who commit acts of terrorism are racists as well, among other things.
Fact is, terrorism will not be diminished by any means of security until the reasons the acts are committed are understood and addressed. Some people will always do these things (radical fundamentalist Muslims for example, who believe Allah wants them to kill non-Muslims) but we can minimize it through sustained goodwill and kindness rather than bombing, threats, invasions and silly, pointless, ineffective security measures.

This guy`s a sikh & yes…with a great sense og humour…A lot of ignorant ppl relate sikhism to Islam…while they`re never connected to it all. For god`s sake they`re indian..a sub religion of hinduism.

Wow. I think its funny, but in a poignant way. When I read all the comments, it makes me sad, so much unrestrained hate in this world we live in and it seems it has very little intellectuality within it. Just animal emotions. Just the same animal emotions we all, in every place, every dark little corner, all claim the other guy has but not us. That is why we are all screwed. Everyone. Everywhere. For those of you who are “throwing rocks” out here would care to study history, geography, religion and politics for a bit (and I don’t mean the HS class you slept through) then maybe you would have a better understanding of the world scene.
